Include the full problem

Paste or photograph the complete question, including diagrams, units and any values given in earlier parts. Missing context is the most common reason an explanation does not match what your course expects.

Share your attempt

Tell Academisolve what you have tried and where it stopped making sense. An explanation that starts from your own reasoning is far more useful than a generic one, because it addresses your specific misunderstanding.

State your level and method

Courses teach the same topic in different ways. Mention details that shape the right approach.

  • Your level, such as secondary school, A-level or first-year university
  • A method your teacher requires, for example completing the square
  • Whether you want a hint, a full solution or only a check of your answer

Use follow-up questions

If one step is unclear, ask about that step specifically: “Why did you divide both sides by 2 in step 3?” Focused follow-ups produce focused answers and help you understand the exact idea you are missing.
